Tonight, think of one thing about yourself you have been trying to fix. Do not fix it. Just look at it for as long as it takes to breathe out three times.
Two people once wrote down what they had understood. The first wrote: your mind is a mirror on a stand, so keep wiping it, and never let the dust settle. The second wrote: there is no mirror and there is no stand — so where would the dust land?
The first answer sounds like hard work, and it never ends. The second one takes the work away, because it takes away the thing that had to be kept clean.
What have you been polishing that was never dirty?
There was nothing to keep clean in the first place.
